Bruising easily

#1

Post by Saria Dragon of the Rain Wilds » Thu Nov 04, 2010 9:43 pm

I have no idea what I did yesterday to cause them, but I have several large, painful bruises on my arms and legs today.

Yes, I can be one of those people who will bruise up just from being poked too hard. Or, in my case, usually, bumping the doorframe as I walk through.

Time to break out double rations of my iron supplement, I suppose. >:[
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

I don't bruise easily, but I sure seem to get cut easily.

It's like I find a new one somewhere every day.

I know someone at work who bruises easily. He says he's had a happy childhood. Eventually, he clued into why concerned teachers were calling him into the office and asking questions about his household -- they thought his parents were beating him silly with a bag of oranges every day. Everything turned out okay so far, though, so happy end.

Anyways, whenever I hear about spontaneous bruising, think about that Special episode of Charlie Brown where there's one girl who has leukemia. Of course, I know that not everyone who gets a bruise has leukemia, and casually mentioning cancer is frowned on, so I have to swallow that thought.

I was with Ace and thinking of that Charlie Brown episode.

Either that or you're drinking too much coffee. :p

I'd like Val. I find a new cut on me every day. Then again given my job....
