I need to completely wipe the hard drive to get my sound and disk drive to work again, because unfortunately the last virus I got took those with it when I got rid of it as a last "screw you" to me. this is somewhat depressing because now I need to go get an external hard drive to back up everything I want to save, and I'm very low on cash.
external hard drives, as least one big enough to hold everything on my hard drive costs around $90-$100 or more.
... I hate that damn virus.

If you have an unmetered Internet connection, you can just upload important files to the cloud. Unless you have redonkulous amount of music and videos, this should work just fine.
