Describe your town. I'd like to see how much they vary.
My town of Acorn is a mountin village. It has two large cliffs that cut the map into three sections. It's further divided into six sections by the river running almost straight down the center of the town.
Acorn is very heavily forested, with over twice as many trees as any other village I've visited. Most of them are pine trees but they fade into regular trees near the bottom of town. The grass pattern is made up of little squares.
Almost all of the villagers live right next to each other on the west side of the river. Most of the buildings, however, are along the eastern edge of town in fairly secluded places, so I have to cross town if I want to visit Tom's, the museum, or the wishing well. The stupid river can make this tough, but I just had the Mayor build a new bridge so it's not much of a problem.
What's your town like?
