I was reading The Grand List of Console Role Playing Game Cliches and I started wondering...

Are there any RPGs without giant robots in them?

Also, you think there are other RPG cliches? Ya' know, the kind where if you're playing a game and you see something, you just know it's an RPG.

You mean Tales of Phantasia? If there wasn't a giant robot in Thor, the second form of Dhaos looks awfully like a robot to me.
