I used to think that the whole "SEX IS WRONG, PREGNANCY HAPPENS TOO OFTEN" thing was true. However, thanks to my open mind left open for wisdom (And boy, have I gained a lot of it last year), I can assure you that there are things that you need to keep thinking about. Me? It's a mixture of "Don't be an idiot, think your actions through" and "Are you responsible enough for these kinds of actions?" You got those who don't think these kinds of things through and get the girl pregnant (I know one guy who is getting married after high school due to this. He's pretty obnoxious, but he's at least ready for the responsibilities), and then you have those who actually think it over and decide for themselves. Those who say "Screw what society says, I'll be by you no matter what happens!" Eh, I'm pretty bad at putting words together in these kinds of debates.

I have decided, however, that even if I screw up, I'll at least stay by. After all, I have recently thought about how awesome it would be to be a father.

Having sex while your a teenager may be fun and all. I disapprove of it, your going to have fun, while your doing it...but it can cause bigger problems than its worth. I know this cause it happen to a good friend of mine. His life is wrecked and the girl that he knocked-up is a whore in my opinion. Do you have willpower..or have you just not been presented in the situation?

Not saying it's impossible for someone to resist sex, but if some girl you merely had a physical and mental attraction to came on to you during a party or some kind of gathering, you wouldn't do it? I find that pretty hard to believe, I've never met anybody like that in my life. I guess it also depends on your age.

Eh, I had sex when I was 17. I'm almost 20. Looking back, I knew I had to be comfortable and very careful. As long as you know your own consequence, be extremely careful, and make sure to use protection.

I believe the right message is to educate teens about it and using protection and such. Considering the higher success of that over abstinence only education, it is more cost effective.

Of course, I never have participated in things like that and such, and hold conservative views about it otherwise. I half-think it isn't really my topic to choose on for others, despite my age.
