Pros:
Graphpics: They didn't change much from the original Golden Sun, so they're staying the same. 10/10
Gameplay: You can link to the original to get all the Djinni, I SERIOUSLY reccomend you do that! Isaac, Garet, Ivan, and Mia join, they will only have 5 djinni, but not flash! Flash is the most useful Djinni in the game. 9/10
Storyline: I can't reveal the storyline, for it has Golden sun Spoilers. 10/10
Difficulty: The Final Boss...(Spoilers)...Is so Goddamn hard!!! He attacks *4 times* Per round and has a Djinni Blocking psyenergy. You need to be at around level 40. (I can't beat him, and my party's over level 50, except Ivan is at level 46 because I didn't use him much) The last boss must have around 13,500 HP. Anyway, the bosses HP is much Higher from the last one, So it is much harder. This isn't a game that you can beat in a few months. 8/10
Sound: Love the battle music! It's really good. The overworld theme is better too. 10/10
Overall: when it is *Finally* released in the USA, this is one game that will be sold out for months, or it will cost alot of money when you finally find it. I'd wait until March 2003 to get it because by then, alot of people would already have it and they will have more in stock. 9/10
The Characters:
Party members:
Felix: He's Semi-evil. Being one of the only ones who can use the Sol Blade (Only Felix and Isaac can use it). His offense is really good and has the Earth spells.
Jenna: Felix's little sister. She is weaker than Felix is (Who would have expected that?) And uses Fire Psyenergy. If you tell her to use that, she tears enemies apart.
Sheba: Oy. You can't really expect much offense from a Wind adept now can you? She uses Staves mainly, but when they unleash, they tear enemies apart. Watch her HP carefully!!!
Picard: Now we're talkin'!!! His attack is really good!! Who says that the Water Adepts can't fight? This guy knows how to use an Axe properly and the swords and axes that unleash special attacks properly. He's not the main source of healing though.
Isaac: He's like Felix. He can use the Sol Blade and can use Potent Cure. He's really good, but his posture is bad! (Look at him in a battle scene and you'll see what I mean)
Garet: He has pretty good offense, He is alot like Picard. He and Picard can't use the Sol Blade, but they DO Know how to use Magical weapons (Not staves) and Axes Properly.
Ivan: I never used him much. But he can tear enemies apart with Psyenergy. (Hint: Never put both Ivan and Sheba in the attack group for a major battle like the last battle. They'll die really quickly because A), their HP Isn't very high, B), their offense is bad, and C), their defense is....Bleh. On the other hand, they are the only ones who can use Staves properly. (Jenna and Mia can use them, but Ivan and Sheba's special attack weapons do more damage)
Mia: Strangley, she looks like Picard. Her Defense is moderate, her attack is moderate (except for when you give her a mace and tell her to use it.) and her defense is moderate. Overall: Moderate. On the upper hand, she can really use Maces. With the help of someone like Picard, she can tear the enemies apart with a mace and their weapon. I use her for the final battle because she can revive people. Make sure she has Wish well near the end of the game. That spell is invaluble.
Bad guys:
Agatio: The most powerful person in the Fire Clan of the north, and he doesn't like you. He's coem to avenge Saturos and Menardi. He's No pushover, but with Picard using his Djinni and summoning, he takes alot of damage.
Karst: She's either Saturos or Menardi's little sister (Forgot who). She teamed up with Agatio to avenge her older sibling. She's weaker in offense than Agatio, but still, Tell Picard to use his Djinni and to summon and he tears them apart.
Alex: Mia's former apprentice, but he refused the Life of a Healer and Joined up with Saturos and Menardi. He can use the Warp psyenergy. His mug shot (When he's talking) reminds me of Sephrioth for some really really really weird reason...
(Spoliers): The final Boss. I can't reveal its name, but what I CAN tell you is that you saw it in Golden Sun.
Other:
(I forgot most of the characters)
Kraden: He's from the first Golden sun. He just follows you around like he did in Sol Sanctum.
