Compared to X-2 also? I know you've played that as well. It's a pity that all you can do is dwell on the sad legacies of fossils that seem good only from the point of nostalgia, while I've moved from FFT and onto others--and not necessarily even numbering more than what you've played in total.

By the way, it's quite simple to conclude that you are only reminiscing about your distant past with FF6 and CT: You keep missing quotes from those.

I'm siding with Jay on this one. If you think we only like FFVI and CT for nostalgia's sake, you're wrong. It's not like we haven't played any other games...Those are just some of the best.

Besides, not everyone thinks CT and FFVI are the best, one and two. Heck, my second favorite game is SD3.

Ah, our difference in trivial knowledge about the breadth of the RPG genre shows. FF3, BoF series, Suikoden series, Wild Arm series, and whatever less mainstream RPGs--compared to FF6-10--mentioned in this topic have barely scratched the surface of an entire subcategory of RPGs. This subcategory of which I speak are the real RPGs: the fantasy role playing games made by Western companies, of which KOTOR is an example--and one of the first--on the consoles. If you think knowledge that comes from playing the few games mentioned here is supposed to be a display of encompassing knowledge of the genre in discussion, perhaps you should rename this forum the JRPG forum.

Ok, guys, I think it's worthless to try to say anything to Terrapin Knight. He seems to be working at a whole new level of nerdom. I'm still trying to figure out what his point is, or if he even has a point.

But basically, can we please get back to the game? Because this game was acutally pretty cool. And TK, the whole point of my joke is that we don't need people like you to come in here and insult everyone else, just because you're some loser who lives in his mother's basement and plays RPGs all day. We're just trying to have fun here. When I said FF1-3 sucked, that was a joke. Get it through your head.

So yeah, I don't want to hear any more about this. Let's continue with the game. And if you want to continue this TK, then too bad. Just stop or I'll ban you or something.-jay
