There's no problem with Tifa; I just get sick of everyone arguing over Tifa and Aerith. Tifa wears those clothes for mobility, not easy access. They killed Aerith for a reason. (sorry Bolt)

A) So she could do cool things to meteor
B) So Square could have more FMV-making experience
C) To narrow the Cloud x ???? relationships

I did date Aerith however. I pissed her off and she threw everyone across the stage. Image

"Why's everyone hate Aerith? First everyone's sticking up to her and now they're sticking up to big-rack? If I ever see the day Scarlet gets appreciation, asses will bleed."

No one "sticks up" to Aeris. Aeris = teh suxx0r. DIE AERIS DIE.

1. It's called an opinion. Understand what it means.

2. My pool of Square game is low. Notice how V and MQ are near the bottom.

3. That's plot, not game.

May I say something?

It's not just because a game is "different" that makes it good or bad. It's certain ways it's different that makes the game good or bad. If all games were the same, we'd all still be playing that stupid E.T. game.

Even when different from their own tradition/series, they can be good and bad. Mega Man Battle Network was different, and the result was heavenly crack. Mega Man X5 was different, and it was above average (others hate it, but I didn't). Phantasy Star III was different, and it was a slap in the face and a kick in the shin of Phantasy Star (even though I ignore the fact it's a Phantasy Star game, it still blows).

Now, I've never played Chrono Cross (I'm considering an auction for it and the GBC Dragon Warrior), so I can't say whether I think it's a good different or a bad different. I'd just like to shut you both up from saying "It owns/sucks because it's different". Say what's different about it that makes the game own/suck.

No game I've played has a 100% perfect plot. Maybe a perfect idea (FF3/6's plot had a good idea), but not a 100% perfect execution ("Hey, I thought Duncan was dead?" "Why'd they drink the pink water?" "How come Cyan's kid was in bed when Cyan found him dead?" "How come Atma Weapon let Kefka and the Emperor through, but not whoever you took onto the Floating Continent?").

I'd say more on my thoughts of what you two have been fighting about, but I'm not sure how to word it without getting Bolt even angrier by sounding like I'm taking sides with Jay.

First off, I'm not mad or fighting. Me and Jay bicker like this all of the time. Secondly, it's called OPINION. I can say whatever I want about CC because that what I think. I can also defend it whenever I want. If someone gets all upset about it, they're taking things too far.

Bolt, you're not even argueing about CC anymore. You're just insulting me. And you're one to talk about opinion, because it's ironic how many times you've turned my opinions of CC into insulting my character. And "bye" means that I've had enough. I'm tired of this crap.-jay

Also in FF Tactics; Murasame heals allies within range, and Masamune casts 'haste' and I think 'regen'. I didn't get the Masamune since I forgot to equip 'concentrate' to my samurai. ._,;

Most of you already know this, but Masamune was named after a legendary Japanese swordsmith, and Muramasa was named his his "evil" counterpart. Or something like that...

I liked FF5. the plot was weak, and the character development sucked, but I'll be damned if it wasn't a fun game!

Top Five things that made up for it's flaws.

5. A cool map music.
4. Side missions were fun.
3. *cough* Galuf's "plot twist".
2. Gilgamesh.
1. Class changing.

I don't like FFV beacus the story was weak the chariter, I well just couldn't conect with them(a must for me in any game I play)(Spioler) Also I don't like how you can't stop the cryitles from shattering(Spioler) And gilgamish made me want to split my haed with his imcompitence. I admit it has it's good point but to me they just didn't completly pacht up the holes it's faults made in the fabric.

As for MQ I didn't like the chariter or how you're basicly on your own. The music was kinda bland as was the plot. and I much as i love FFIII/VI codieKitty riases some really good points about it. One in particler I'm trying to figur out is how a newborn infent survived on the veld for 13 years.

That's pretty much what I wanted to say eariler. But since the rest of my post pissed him off, I guess I didn't have much to worry about by saying that. Well said, Carter.

Flying Omelette likes Master Quest. I've never played it, so I can't say where I stand.

Okay, I think it's time for me to make a list. I'll make the boring, "Ten Greatest" list.

The 10 Greatest Enix Games:
10) I've only played six.
9) That's right, just six.
8) That's why the road apple known as "ActRaiser 2" made the list.
7) I'd like more of 'em, though...
6) ActRaiser 2
5) Dragon Warrior
4) Illusion of Gaia
3) The 7th Saga
2) ActRaiser
1) Soul Blazer
