Okay, I'm doing categories, so there's more than 1, and you said "Best RPGs ever made:
Best console style RPG: Tie between Phantasy Star IV and Chrono Trigger
Best Strategy RPG: Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling together (Reason it's not Fire Emblem: Fire Emblem's linear. In TO, there are 2 different chapter 2's, 3 different chapter 3's, and loads of secret quests and hidden battles like Hell Gate)
Best Real time strategy (Does it count? Correct me if it doesn't): Warcraft III.
Best Dungeon Stalker: Dark Cloud 2 (It's probably one of the only dungeon stalkers out there. )
Best Adventure RPG: Tie between Seiken Dentsu 3 and Majora's Mask
Best monster-catching RPG: Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal
Honorable mentions:
Crystalis
Phantasy Star II
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy 9
Panzer Dragoon saga
Shining the Holy Ark
Magi Nation
I think there may be more (If you count Sports RPGs) categories, but I'm too lazy to find out.
And you can tell I'm an RPG whore.

I'm just gonna list a bunch of them I thought were really good in ABC order.
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 4
Final Fantasy 6
Mega Man Battle Network
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star IV
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire
I'd put Final Fantasy Legend II on there, but I haven't finished it yet. Considering how addictive it is, it shouldn't take me long. I just beat Venus about an hour ago. As for Shining the Holy Ark, same scenario. I'm loving it so far, but I haven't finished it yet.
Zelda Games:
Link to the Past
Ocarina of Time
Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

Finished Final Fantasy Legend II yesterday. I'll add that to my list.
