It's weird they haven't released Twilight Princess HD already, same for Wind Waker. Shenmue also, it's dumb to have Shenmue 3 on there but not the others.

I can understand why 'Super Mario RPG' isn't on the SNES app (naturally, they want people to play the newfangled one); that said, it'd be cool if the original iteration were to become available at some point. Also, 'Pocky & Rocky' seems like awesome couch co-op, but it isn't in the SNES app, either.

Re: games you would really like to see released on the switch
I was thinking of other games I'd like to see on Switch, and the first two generations of Pokemon games come to mind (preferably with Pokemon Stadium series functionality via NSO).
Also, as long as they don't make any woke changes like they did with Another Code's remake, I'd love to see Hotel Dusk get remade too.
One more, Super Smash Bros. Melee HD, with online play and some optional new content & balance tweaks. I'm kinda tired of Smash Ultimate. At least throw SSB64 on NSO already.
...Actually, one more. Sand Land, I was surprised it skipped Switch, I'm sure it'd sell best there.
From what I heard, Ms. Pac-Man is in some kind of legal gray area, maybe that complicates its rerelease. As for Rush'n Attack, real-life crap might make it a controversial release, sorta like the situation with the Advance Wars remake a while back.
I never even heard of Zoo Keeper, is it good?

P&R would be a good one. I'm awful at it but it'd still be fun to have a go at it in co-op with my nephew. I think there's a remake of that too, so it's probably a similar situation as with SMRPG, wanting people to play the new one.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 10:37 amI can understand why 'Super Mario RPG' isn't on the SNES app (naturally, they want people to play the newfangled one); that said, it'd be cool if the original iteration were to become available at some point. Did you mean Crash Team Racing?

Actually, the one I'm surprised hasn't happened is 'Chrono Trigger', what with the recent remaster/rerelease of the first six FFs this year (not to mention the new touch-up of 'Chrono Cross'). It seems like a lot of people would like that.

(answer: no (there was at least one game named Crash Team Rumble))
(answer (from a non-Zoo Keeper player): possibly so (based on viewings of it on a TV program (game show) based on video games named "Starcade"))I never even heard of Zoo Keeper, is it good?

Yeah, Chrono Trigger's been bizarrely missing from consoles for a while now. Its last console release was for PS3 in 2011, but it had more recent (2017) PC/mobile releases. For some reason I always misremember it as being available on the SNES Classic too, but I don't think it actually was.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 4:35 amActually, the one I'm surprised hasn't happened is 'Chrono Trigger', what with the recent remaster/rerelease of the first six FFs this year (not to mention the new touch-up of 'Chrono Cross'). I assumed for a while it was because they were going to remaster/remake it, but we're on the heels of 2025 and there's no real indication of that yet. Not that I'm particularly excited for one anymore anyway after that buggy, censored, featureless version of Chrono Cross they crapped out a while back (which I foolishly got day 1 to support the series). At least it did include an official English release of Radical Dreamers, though I'm not sure how it compares to the old fan translation that's been out forever.
Oh, I guess I forgot they made that Crash game.Mario500 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 9:30 am(answer: no (there was at least one game named Crash Team Rumble))

I took a look, Zoo Keeper looks pretty good for a game of its age. Kinda reminds me of Donkey Kong, even though it seems to play differently. I wonder if it was inspired by Donkey Kong.
