My go-to at Mod is sausage, bacon, red and green peppers, and hot honey. They used to have broccoli, and I would add that.

I'm fine with all except plain cheese--------------far as I'm concerned, plain cheese is the equivalent of asking someone if they liked redheads or brunettes or blondes or whatev, and they said. 'uh, bald, please'.
My daughter likes to get a cheese pizza and then remove the cheese and just eat the saucy dough. I guess that's like asking someone their hair color preference and they take some shambling steps at you and moan 'braaaains.'
I can't even save the money and buy her bread sticks with dipping marinara; it's different and not good enough I guess. Gotta be a texture things.

Ahahahaaaa. You're a smart funny guy, Deku. Tousle your daughter's hair for me, sweetness.
[EDIT: Ooh, broccoli. I like broccoli just plain, I love broccoli with cheese-------------how did I never once consider broccoli on pizza. It even has an italian word for a name.]

Hey @Deku Tree, I've never had hot honey. Is it nice?
I like honey. I also like hot things (I generally put maple syrup and sriracha on pancakes). Hot honey sounds nice. On the flip, I've got a slightly delicate stomach-------------honey's antiseptic properties might frig up my flora, and a spicier verion of that sounds tailor-made to give me the galloping trots.
Like, do I want to have hot honey if it means I have to presage and follow it with kombucha? Kombucha tastes as nice as they can make it, I'm sure, but it still tastes like Satan's jockstrap.

I've had hot honey on pizza; it's great!
Honey, especially local honey, is supposed to be one of the healthiest possible things for you.
For me, with pizza, I'm very big on live & let live. I don't try to make everyone else eat all the weird stuff I like; I just want them to stop yelling at me for eating it.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I'm not talking health----------I'm talking about things that might cause me to poop myself if the bus hits a bump. I'd rather be slightly less healthy, personally.

I've only just started having it. At least what they have at Mod isn't all that hot, for my tastes. Sorta like honey and a low intensity hot sauce. I like what it adds, but I wouldn't make myself sick for it.

Is honey actually that healthy? I figured it was healthier than refined sugars but still basically just sugar with some trace nutrients. I have heard that royal jelly is supposed to be pretty healthy though.

I don't think it's necessarily good for you. Like, I suppose compared fo HFCS, but it's still got a ridiculously high glycemic index, plus its crazy natural antiseptic properties can absolutely obliterate your intestinal flora. Like, too much honey will frick you up. It's why you're not supposed to give babies honey------------it messes with their intestines.
It's like how, when you have to take an antibiotic, your guts might get screwed up.
I keep kombucha in the fridge, because I'm sensitive to dairy-------------maybe I should do yoghurt bevs and take them with generic lactaid. Whatevs, man.
[EDIT...goat's milk yoghurt? Sheep's milk yoghurt? It isn't enough for it just to be Greek, it also has to be non-cow. What the hell's the point in eating yoghurt to fix my guts if it just gives me horrible diarrhea anyway.

As I understand, local honey helps inoculate you against local allergens, since it's...made of some of them I guess? I might be imprecisely remembering how bees work.

I guess it's not weird but unusual, I've only eaten it in cereal up until now, but freeze dried strawberries. It's a convenient way to snack on berries and kinda turns out to be a decent alternative to chips in a way.

Ooh. Lower sodium and fats, loaded with vit-c and antioxidants. I'm big into banana chips myself-----------I love bananas, plus the high potassium and magnesium help with my charley-horse issues. (My legs cramp up a lot when I'm trying to sleep. Sometimes my hands do it now, too, mostly at work. I'll probably keep up with the banana chips, but it might be time to start an actual K-Mg supplement as well.)

I bought the hot honey Snyder's pretzel bits, and they're not my shebang. I like honey mustard, I even like "devil's spit" bread'n'buttter pickle chips----------hot honey is a little too hot for me, honey. I feel like a weenie.

I'm not much for bananas, but they're a lot cheaper than berries at least (and are technically a berry). I never get leg cramps really, but my arms love going numb.
Never had anything hot honey except maybe wings one time, I think. Sounds good to me but I'm a bit leery of spicy food now, unless it's nominally hot.

I go numb in my extremities a lot more than I ever used to, thanks to my high blood pressure meds. I mean, I'm pleased that my head hasn't exploded, but this stinks, too.

So, Sis brought the kids into town from Dakota for the family reunion (per usual), and she brought me the new flavour of Cow Tales-----------Honey Bun.
...I'd almost be miffed that they'd choose something so generic after wonders like Caramel Apple and Strawberry Smoothie, only they absolutely nailed the flavour.
[EDIT:...wonder what the next curve-ball flavour will be. Piña Colada would be surprising. If they do Blue Moon I'm going to assume God and/or the Matrix is taunting me.

So back when I was a drunk all the time, I loved a bloody mary at breakfast. Good match for breakfast food, whether you were having steak and eggs, hash and hash browns, or even just Boo Berry. Fit substitute is Clamato, or low-sodium V8.
You guys like a savoury beverage? I like Clamato and V8. They're nice.

...I'm going to say this just oncet.
If you're one of those 'you've been eating bananas the wrong way this whole time!' guys, you can screw off. Quite frankly, if a person is eating a banana at all, good for them. Stop telling people they're taking the peel off wrong just because monkeys do it differently.
I like strawberries. I like them enough that I just eat the whole thing, leaves and all. I frequently eat mangoes without peeling them. I eat the whole apple, even the deadly cyanide seeds that will kill you and make a tree grow out of your tummy as you lie there, a grody corpse for all eternity.

I'm trying to think of there are any savory beverages I'm into, but I'm not coming up with any. Closest thing that occurs to me is probably just broth.
Speaking of the way things are eaten, is anyone else like me in that I like it when sweets invite you to make a little ritual out of the way you eat them? Like Oreos, Kit Kats, and Reese's cups and how you might take them apart or nibble certain layers at a time rather than just chomping a chunk out of it.
