Good Will Hunting is the obvious favorite for me, though it doesn't showcase him as a comedian. I've seen a few others, but none really stand out, though they were generally good.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

My favorites are Aladdin and Death to Smoochy, I think.
Not really sure what I'd consider the worst. Some of the stuff I didn't like as a kid might just have been because I was too young for it.

Bicentennial Man was interesting but weird. Insomnia was good but Robin Williams doesn't do serious roles very well.

Let's see. I really liked 'Good Morning Vietnam', and 'Moscow on the Hudson'. And 'Survivors'. Ooh, and 'Popeye'. [EDIT: And 'Death to Smoochy'.]
'Aladdin' isn't my favourite Disney flick, but Williams was great in it, and "Never Had a Friend Like Me" is an absolute riot.
...can't really think of anything I outright hated. 'Jakob the Liar' was kind of depressing, but, well, there's a Holocaust movie for you.

Re: What are your favourite movies with Robin Williams in them?
Robin Williams is my role model as an actor, & the only celebrity ever whose death actually emotionally hurt me. (Even Mike Nesmith last winter wasn't so bad, because Nez was so old that everyone saw it coming. But Robin was a punch in the gut.)
At the same time, Ferngully is so bad that even a 7-year-old environmentalist Robin-Williams-fanatic, the exact target demographic for the movie, LOATHED IT.
Let's rank him:
Good Will Hunting
Dead Poets Society
Death to Smoochy
Mrs. Doubtfire
Aladdin
One Hour Photo
Jumanji
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Hook
Night at the Museum
Good Morning Vietnam
The Crazy Ones (TV series)
Patch Adams
Mork & Mindy (TV series)
Jakob the Liar
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
World's Greatest Dad
August Rush
Bicentennial Man
-----
Aladdin & the King of Thieves
Popeye
Robots
Man of the Year
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
Jack
What Dreams May Come
RV
-----
Happy Feet
Ferngully: The Last Rainforest
And remember,....

Re: What are your favourite movies with Robin Williams in them?
All of the movies he did was possible awesome.
"Toys" makes me cry. I truly hate seeing how Robs cousin ( the son of his military Uncle ) kinda refused to help his sister stand up on her own. Especially since he now knows the truth about her.
Just right there he was like "better if you stand up on your own" he automatically has a problem with her. Like he wanted or felt insulted that she was not a human being. We also got that dance number from "Toys".
Best movie of my life I could enjoy even if all the people was fake as folly.

Why such strong negative feelings about Ferngully? I remember liking it well enough.CaptHayfever wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 6:00 pmRobin Williams is my role model as an actor, & the only celebrity ever whose death actually emotionally hurt me. I hate the art & animation, I hate how Hexxus gets released, I hate Krysta's weird rebirth at the end, I hate the romance, I hate how creepy & depressing Batty Koda is.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
