Do you try new anime shows regularly?
What is the newest anime you are watching?

Will you be watching any of the newest released anime for this year?

There's a huge long list in the following link:

Not regularly, but sometimes. Newest one was probably Yashahime, the Inuyasha sequel. It was okay, I only really liked Moroha, Inuyasha's daughter. The original cast didn't get enough screentime, that kinda sucked.

None from that list seem very interesting. If I try one it probably won't be any of those. I'm going to see the new Dragon Ball film next month though.

Man. It's been a while.

...I do watch new cartoons relatively often, though. 'Smiling Friends' is a hoot.

The problem with new Anime is the reality that you should be able to work on your own animation project.

Japan itself will always have all kinds of great stuff but honestly we need to move from that shore.

At the moment all animation is a mixture of everything.

Just curious about this statement. Why do you think that? Personally, I find American animation to be entirely lost. Simpsons, Family Guy, etc have all been bad for years. South Park is still okay but on a downward trend too. Even Rick & Morty, which is relatively new, is already dreadfully repetitive

Anime is well beyond its peak now too, but it still produces some absolute classics, like Attack on Titan. Although, I do hope they change the ending in the anime so it's different from the manga. It's a common sentiment but the manga really botched the ending.

When i say move away from Japan $@#$@$@ I am not talking about sitcoms, or caped-crusaders. I am talking about stuff made by people in the west who have nothing to do with anything from the far-east. I mean anything. It is a waste of money and personally I prefer supporting my local ( by local I do not mean somebody who travel to the USA to make comics in their spare time ). Or some person who has a bunch of support and backers on their projects.

I mean guys who actually invest their lives into the material. Take

Errant Story
Exploitation Now
Everything Jake
Sinfest

and many more. Sadly "Adult Swim" is a another great example. I wish I was around for the community which has been reduced to promoting one game instead of having a platform for games. Again Adult Swim actually made an effort to make stuff that was reasonable.

The reality in my opinion without looking at South America, Action-comics, or even Heavy Metal ( which is really a port of a french book ). The US only has Playboy comics and that is about.

I mean yeah great their are tons of cartoons to check out as well but we need to support people who are making up to date stuff. Right now Marvel and DC are practically dead in the water. Even publishing houses like Valiant is completely gone. Image comics seems to be fair game. Fire-man comics is belly up. Asides the few individuals who are making their own books, animations, and real life films.

Think

Rick and Morty
Tick
Axe Cop

Think "Sadly" Netflix and Hulu stuff......

Regular people with regular lives and all kinds of stuff occurring.

Think people instead of making Cosplay they do an entire CGI animation with people acting that looks the part. Yes licensed out material.

Think

"Fat man trapped inside the internet" ( which literally pulled a Ganondorf )

Think

Channel 101 (.com)

Think about those little guys on DA and Newgrounds trying to get things going.
Think about the paterons, gofundme, and kickstarters.

Those are the people we need to focus on. I will admit some of them are not nice at all but that is all we really have nowadays.

$#@$$ Hollywood
$#@$$ mainstream
$$@#$! paying ADV via Crunchy Roll so you could Anime that is of lesser material.

...........

Remember "Histeria" and "Animaniacs" ??? their are tons of people on youtube making great material that even is better then that.

Original Animaniacs annihilates new Animaniacs.
Just like original "The Thing" owns new "The Thing"

The stuff we loved from long time ago is no longer the same material anymore. Those people are dead, and whoever running the show is a lie.

Just like "the prices right" it is all just a dream

Yeah, Marvel and DC comics definitely aren't doing well. Who published The Walking Dead? That was the last comic I really got into.

As for Netflix I'll give them one more chance. Their anime adaptations draw me in, but they screwed up some of my favorites already (Death Note and Cowboy Bebop,). They're working on Yu Yu Hakusho and I really hope they don't ruin it (likely, unfortunately).

I haven't watched the new Anamaniacs but I'm sure the old one is much better, that's almost always the way it goes. They change things too much and it feels different, even if a lot of the same creators are working on it.

I do admit the new Beavis & Butthead is just about as good as it always was, which is surprising. I expected it to be bad. Give it a shot if you're into the series.

It is not about change or feeling different. It is about sticking to a formula that made it great.

Take Dragon Ball series. It keeps going into a specific direction which makes it watchable. Even if it ended on the Pan as an elderly woman seeing visions of her Grandpa or Goku flying through the sky with Buu as his replacement.

I am going to make this clear. Tons of people died for absolutely nothing from 2001 to 2022 regarding the Afghanistan Iraq war and tons of discrimination to the law and people across the world has been done in that time. If we could turn back the clock of stupidity I am sure we all would be better off.

The problem here now is that people are attempting to make people forget about that instance with many things.

A black President calling for change that is not real
A Rich-kid who is talking red lining tactics he practiced that he went to court for in the past
Tons of brainwashed victims in the process that nobody is going to defend.

All to fuel selfishness and stupidity that has continue to plague us till this day.

Distractions, Distractions all of these things are distractions from the truth.

..................................

I am not talking about publishers anymore. Nobody cares about these people. Anybody to everybody could be considered a publisher. It is called a proprietorship class of business that taxes can zero to yourself rather then a LLC or corperation where you have to pay considerable amount of taxes irregardless.

......

It is not the way it goes ??? It is waste of our time and a display of robbing of our rights of individualism and ability to express ourselves.
