Did you see Forrest Gump at the cinema?
Many years later, what do you remember about the movie?
What are your favourite quotes?

She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

Happiest faerie of VGF.

'Forrest Gump' is a well-made, well-acted movie, and I really, really don't care about it at all. Never seen it in-theatre, and I'm fine with that.

I saw it at the theater, as you can imagine I wasn't terribly interested in it as a little kid. I'm not much more interested in it now, actually. It's got some good parts but it's sort of a pointless movie, doesn't seem to have a message or anything.

Unless, of course, the message is to chase around floozies, possibly catch a disease, and that life is sort of like a box of chocolates. I don't know, I don't really get it.

My favorite quote:

Gump: Lt. Dan! What are you doing here?
Dan: I'm here to try out my sea legs.
Gump: But Lt. Dan, you ain't got no legs...
Dan: Yes... Yes, I know that.

I just rewatched it last night for the first time in a while. Mostly great film, though a couple of Forrest's brushes with history are kinda dumb (especially the smiley-face shirt one).

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
