Love me some pinball & skeeball.
For actual *video* games in arcades, I also love Gauntlet, X-Men, & light gun games.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Off that list, I've played 'Pac-Man' and 'Galaga' on actual arcade machines. Also 'Tapper' and 'Ms Pac-Man'. The rest I played as ports. 'Galaga' was the favourite.

One of my lunatic friends brought a 'Super Mario Bros' cabinet up to camp one summer. It was a neat thing to try out, but I couldn't really get the hang of using an arcade-style joystick instead of a D-pad.

I always loved co-op beat-em-ups. I bought 'X-Men', 'The Simpsons' and 'TMNT' when they got released to XBLA, and then none of them ended up making the backwards-compatibility list for XOne, which is pretty flippin weak. Like, those three are kind of perfect hangout games for guys in their thirties, and out of everything they could have ported, those didn't make the cut. I don't get it. (At least 'Chronicles of Mystara' is on there.)

Favourite arcade cabinets were always those SNK four-cart units. Not many places had them, but the ones that did were usually run by someone who knew a good game from a hole in the ground, so you could generally count on a Metal Slug, a Samurai Shodown, and either a King of Fighters or Fatal Fury. Yeah.

'Soul Edge' is what convinced me to get a Playstation, and, if I hadn't already been planning on getting a Dreamcast for 'Power Stone', playing 'Crazy Taxi' and 'Hydro Thunder' in the arcade would have won me over.

I loved pinball, but I was never overly picky and choosy----------the more intricate the better. Extra flippers and crazy ramps and chutes were a big plus.
boo--------------a real american weirdo

I have played all of those except Star Wars, though only about half on actual arcade hardware. My favorites were Golden Axe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Simpsons. Metal Slug games were pretty cool too, plus Marve vs Capcom.

I remember playing one of the Tekken games at the bowling alley's arcade, I don't recall which it was but the graphics were really impressive at the time (I'm thinking early '00s but I can't be sure).

(remembers having had often favored (or "favoured") certain Donkey Kong games (within at least one dental facility and at least one retail facility) and certain bowling games (within at least one Chuck E. Cheese restaurant)

I used to have my birthday parties at a restaurant that had an arcade. Not Chuck E. Cheese. Pretty sure it was Burger King. I don't particularly remember any games from there, except Skee-Ball. I'm sure I played most of the games from that list, although it blurs together because I also played them on NES or whatever system.

I had thoughts of starting a similar business when I grew up, but I don't know how viable such a business would even be in the current market. We had an arcade in town. Right next door to the Blockbuster. I'm not sure where I could even find one now. An arcade that is. You can find Blockbuster if you accidentally find yourself going to Oregon for some reason.

QuikDrop as of recent. Same with some kinds of pinball.

Also the Simpsons Arcade Game.

I used to love playing Galaga. I was afraid of the ghosts in Pac-Man. And, there was a UFO shooting game that I also used to play but I can't recall the name of it.

Any kind of pinball cabinet, and I'm gonna have fun. Am I gonna do well? Maybe! But it's the having fun that's what matters to me.

Game cabinets are a crapshoot with me, but I like, well, any Pac-Man game. Street Fighter, maybe, depends on the individual game.
