Awww! He said he wasn't gonna die! I remember! In 'Cocoon'!

Why couldn't it have been...I don't know, him not dying?!? I mean, if the news story was instead that Wilford Brimley was alive and well and really really happy, and also he was going to be a character in the next Fable or Borderlands, that would've been okay, wouldn't it?

...ugh.

Somewhere right now an orphan child is crying, and Wilford Brimley is not there to dry his tear. A bad guy cackles maniacally, and there will never more be Wilford Brimley to give him stern but gentle rebuke. What a shambles.

At least he didn't die of covid or something; he was just a regular 85-year-old diabetic. That's little comfort, but still. :-/

Here's Wilford winning one of only 22 Golden Mouth Organs ever awarded:

And remember,....

Wilford Brimley's appearance on Craig Ferguson is such a nice thing. I mean, I liked Craig Ferguson's show a whole lot, but so much of it was lunacy, banter and innuendo----------seeing them just have a polite, slightly-awkward conversation was sweet. And of course Wilford winning the harmonica was great. Wowing Craig, after pretending not to know how to play...fun troll moment.
