I'm not sure I'd call the designs in Judgment "thoughtful reimaginings." Simon is just straight up Light Yagami's head stitched onto a muscular body and Eric Lecarde is creepy shota bait.

Our Blockbuster didn't have it when I was a kid. Bought it on a whim one year at camp (from the Blockbuster in Rhinelander, which was in liquidation). We had a movie night that night, and SF2 was a giant hit. Think we watched it a couple times a week the rest of the summer. By summer's end, you had guys quoting lines from it like it was 'Ghostbusters' or something. ("We Japanese fighters have to stick together! Because we're brothers! Ahahahaa!" pretty much became the unofficial staff motto.)

The Yagami resemblance is uncanny, but I'm used to that kinda thing thanks to Toriyama, every hero he works on for games is basically Goku. I think some manga artists have a tough time diversifying their main character designs. And to be fair, I think all of Castlevania is creepy and weird already, Judgement just took it up a notch lol

Maybe Toriyama just has trouble drawing more than one particular face. Maybe that's why Gorku and Vegata look alike, and both look like Chruno from 'Chronno Tirgger', and also like protagonist-guy from stupid 'Dagron Qeust'.

It's the Toriyama style. Some shows are just like that. All the extras usually look the same. Full metal was pretty good about diversifying. One piece is good too.

I saw the scene in question now, and not only is Alucard getting plowed super gay, as I'd heard, I didn't know the scene also included incest. It's frankly one of the most random, bizarre, and disturbing things I've seen done to a character I like that it's actually amazing. So what I meant was that I didn't hear misinformation as you suggested, but it definitely wasn't the whole story either because the "twin" stuff caught me off guard.

Good job, Konami. Go back to pachinko plz.

I started watching Magic Knights Rayearth a couple months ago - I got distracted partway through but REALLY wanna continue rewatching. I loved pretty much everything about it.
