i did a music video shoot for a girl i worked on an album with recently. the video had an "optical illusions" theme. here are some photographs of me mean-mugging whilst being SPOOOOOKY



this one was intended to create the illusion that my face is turned in profile, which read very well in the video but not QUITE as well in photograph form. i really liked the way the makeup artist bruised my eye, too, which was an interesting touch that i think looked pretty neat. note: yes, i realize it doesn't read as well with both eyes open, but the dude taking the picture wanted there to be "evidence" that it was a makeup thing (whatever that's supposed to mean).

^Kinda; it's at the very end of Easter, so there's a range of a few weeks (in April & May) where it usually falls. Also, it's only 1 day. ;)

^Well, the Festival of Pentecost is a week after Ascension, so about 50 days after Easter. The Season of Pentecost lasts basically from then until Advent.
