I Hate Living Here

I absolutely abhor living here in Virginia. The majority of the people in the state is either white trash that drives monster trucks through the mud for fun, drug dealing wastes of society, or rich snooty pink polo-wearing guys named Chad with their trophy wives and college kids that look unshaven and unshowered whilst trying way too hard to be "not mainstream". A lot of people try to act smarter than you where I live, and it comes off as an extreme douchebag attitude, and after being forced to socialise with that person I get the impression they aren't really intelligent at all.

Try to merge into a new lane, drivers will generally speed up to prevent you from merging, then give you a dirty look like you did something wrong. The roads are out of date by decades and they're usually filled with potholes, which is interesting considering Virginia's taxes are so high you practically have to sell your vital organs. Oh yeah, food and clothing is all taxed too, and I honestly don't know what they're going towards, because not much here ever improves.

Fifth grade is probably the peak of education here because the teachers are too ill-equipped to handle so many students and compared to other places teachers generally seem to not care about their students as much.

All the police do are hand out traffic tickets at every corner and it feels like a police state, only more crime. At this point I wouldn't even recommend my enemies move here.

Did you move to Virginia from somewhere, or are you a native? Just curious.

Come and move to New York. Become....one of us. One of us. ONE OF US.

I've been living in Virginia for 16 years of my life, so I suppose close enough to native since I can't remember the year I spent in Florida as a baby. Moving to the more richer areas eight years ago exposed me to nothing but snobby jerkfaces with only a few genuinely good people.

So wait.

Are you describing Georgia, or Virginia?

I moved to GA when I was 7, so I do remember Oregon (oh god I miss it so much) and I'm also not a native speaker of this dialect they have down here. HOORAY FOR MOVING ELSEWHERE AFTER THE CRITICAL PERIOD HAS PASSED
