How important is height for a woman?

Somewhat, yes. You keep putting yourself down over this. Someone already posted in your other height thread, and as cliche as this sounds, that it's what is on the inside that counts. I haven't met a girl yet who thinks, "Hmm. I hate short guys. They're the lowest common denominator of human beings!".
I've told you everything I can. The only left that I can do is point out the thousands of shorter people out there that are married, successful, have jobs, have kids, etc, and keep telling you not to keep putting yourself down.
So, I'll say it one last time. Chin up, and stop worrying about your height.

Maybe you could try making yourself remarkable to others for something that isn't a quirk of genetics. Like, with enough practice and dedication, you could be a great ukulele player, a talented chainsaw sculptor, a renowned tomahawk-thrower, maybe even the world's greatest rodeo clown. Tell me any of those wouldn't be a much better conversational foray than 'hey, lady! lady! look how tall i am!'

You're focusing on your weaknesses. What are your strengths? If you pay more attention to what you're good at you might have a better bit of confidence.
Everyone here's told you time and time again that it doesn't matter that you're short. Everyone here is of differing cultures, opinions, personalities, etcetera, but they all agree that it doesn't matter if you're short. That should say something.

Short story: If there exists a girl out there who didn't want to date you just because you're not tall, then such is a girl not worth dating.
I mean, I remember, oh, in the early days of the Internet, circa 2003, stumbling upon a LiveJournal of a girl who, in her own words, refused to date anyone who didn't look like Link. Such is the epitome of a creepy girl, and even if I did have the characteristics of Link, I can assure you that I would have stayed the loving **** away from her.

Everyone is amazing (or at least, has the potential to be) because of their inherent humanity. You obviously need to stop dwelling on your height, but distracting yourself by saying you struggle academically is not the right way to go about that.
Without knowing you on a personal level, I can say you undoubtedly have admirable qualities. However, if you only ever focus on the negatives, it will become harder and harder to see what those are (not only for yourself but for other people!).
If you insist on academic success being important, I can go on all day about how that's false, but I think the issue is way besides that. Learn to love yourself, man. Desirable women won't care about all this arbitrary jazz.
