Worried about my parents and uncle.

So, my mom, dad, and uncle are 55, 57, and 70, respectively, and I'm worried they'll die in 5-20 years. It's really been getting to me lately. Any advice?

My parents are in their mid-50s too, & the thought has started crossing my mind, especially since my mom'd dad died in his 50s. My grandma just turned 90, also, & she's starting to wind down dramatically. I think the best thing we can do is just not take our loved ones for granted; make sure you spend some time with them at least semi-regularly (which should be pretty easy if you live with them still--I don't know if you do).

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yes, I still live with them.

Though, people are living much longer these days. I'm sure all three of them have a good chunk of time left.

Thanks to the advancement in medicine most people are now looking to a good age of roughly 85, even 95ish. So you'll have them around for a lot longer than you think. Also remember, 20 years is a long time. You'll be 20 years older too. Just don't waste those 20 years. Both my mum and dad are about 55ish, and one both of my grandparents are well into their 80's Sadly death isn't something we can avoid, but we can avoid wasting time with them.
Peace and Love X
