One of my old high school theater buddies died last night. I found out this morning. They said he went to take a nap between shifts (he was a DJ) & just didn't wake up. He was 25.
What the crap, man.
And remember.....

I knew this girl in in high school, I had the same physics class with her and a small group of students (it was elective) for 2 years as well. She was a nice person, and I talked to her a lot by my standards, though I would not say I was a friend, since I really had few of those. She was very focused on one dream, going to the US Merchant Marine Academy. She worked hard at everything for it, and got accepted before graduating high school. About 6 months after graduating, I heard from other people that I knew that she had died there of heart failure during some exercise. It later appeared in the local paper. She had always been athletic and never showed any signs of heart problems, as far as I know this came out of nowhere unless there was a problem that no one found. What is the point of this? At the time, what shocked me more than her just dying was that it was right at the beginning of her goal. What could be more unfair than that?
