I don't think that's quite the most civil way to do it.
SHOW CHICK-FIL-A HOW MUCH THEY'RE WRONG BY ACTING LIKE A DOUCHE TO ONE OF THEIR DRIVE-THRU WORKERS THAT'LL DEFINITELY SHOW 'EM

That guy is just being a jerk. He gives the people who oppose CFA a bad name. Same thing for the people who vandalized one CFA:

Fast food sucks in general. I actually don't have as much of a problem with Chick Fil-A's anti-gay bigotry as I do with Burger King's refusal to give up trans fats.
The owner has the right to spout his anti-gay beliefs and we have the right to challenge him on them. I hope that if someone comes out who is close to him he will have a change of heart. -CSM

Somewhat in response to the idea of "intolerance" against Chick-fil-a and different viewpoints:
http://www.owldolatrous.com/?p=288
"This isn’t about mutual tolerance because there’s nothing mutual about it. If we agree to disagree on this issue, you walk away a full member of this society and I don’t."
I get the idea of free speech, but what's upsetting is not what the individual said, but how profits made by the company DO promote discrimination. Of course, this has been the case for a while, but I guess most people only recently found out.

Um, yes it is bullying. In fact, that's harassment. Not only was it just a drive-thru employee, she made it clear she didn't want to argue anything about it and handled it very professionally.Random User wrote:^Sure, that's being a douche, but it hardly constitutes "bullying." Besides, tactics like that are used all the time in various causes.
Just a woman doing her job and some jackass decides to unleash his political viewpoints.

Seriously? What would you define as bullying?Random User wrote:^Sure, that's being a douche, but it hardly constitutes "bullying." Besides, tactics like that are used all the time in various causes.
He's picking on someone who has done him no wrong and who can't even retaliate. That's almost the epitome of bullying.

Eh, in hindsight I suppose I can see it as bullying I guess. I mean he only dropped by once, complained to her that her employer is evil and cried about some free water. I guess I feel doing that once is being a jerk, doing it again and again I would feel more like it's bullying, but that's just me. The employee handled the situation really well, though, which is admirable.Sonic 5 wrote:Seriously? What would you define as bullying?

Two words. Chicken biscuit.
Seriously though, I don't see it as much different than when Pepsi, Walmart, and other companies have supported gay marriage. But oh wait, that's a view point you agree with.. sss ohhh.
Srsly seriously tho though, if you hate it so much then start a (non bullyistic (is that a word?(It doesn't really matter I guess( Nah it doesn't))) boycott.

I'm not sure why any nice person would support social intolerance of any kind, Guild, for any reason. That's sort of on the opposite side of the meter. It's not like the government can force religious recognition of the word 'marriage'. If you walk that road, where you reject tolerant behavior, the only thing you're doing is making some people less capable of having a happy life over the use of a word in a barely related context.
As for the boycott argument, they couldn't even afford to maintain a presence in my area, when I lived in the US. So afaik, victory by default. They don't sell Denny's buffalo chicken strips there, anyway. Or Steak & Shake's spicy chicken sandwich. Why the hell would anyone bother. Chrissake, ain't even a Boston Market. Man, I'd love some of that soup they sell at Boston Market.

I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

Maybe someone simply doesn't see it as intolerance, or if they do, then maybe they see that intolerance (and possibly other intolerance ) as okay, or even a good thing. I'm sure there's a similar argument for disagreeing with or supporting gay marriage. My only real point here is that it's their freedom to support whatever cause they wish, and if someone doesn't wish them to do it then they should take action, start a petition to the company, boycott them, send letters to them, heck, even do what they're doing and donate to a cause that's actively trying to convince them to change, or whatever. It's more than just complaining about it.
Dude, CHICKEN BISCUIT. 'nuff said.
xD actually, I haven't had their chicken biscuit in a long time ( since I haven't eaten there in quite a while ha) I just like saying Chicken Biscuit. It's up there with "Cellar Door" in my book. :P
