I went up to Rochester to visit my sister. The Jets were in town visiting the Bills. I lose my ticket. After thinking it fell out of my pocket, I scalped one, but it was a fake. Then I had to go buy a ticket at the ticket booth for $160, and then I had to buy an extra for my sister because she couldn't get back in. When we get back I find the missing ticket under a sweater.

Now I'm down 500 bucks and my dignity as a brother. All because I fumbled the snap. -CSM

If you have a sister, you have no dignity as a brother.

One day, you'll look back on that day and laugh. Although I have a sister, and I've never had any dignity as a brother. :/

I've decided I'm going to buy her a box of chocolates. What do you think of that idea? -CSM

Eh, you made some mistakes. Nothing wrong if you want to give your sister a little present as a "sorry our outing wasn't super great", but it's not the end of the world. Unless someone's really nasty, they won't even think anything of this after a while; it'll just be some random thing which happened, that might come up as an amusing anecdote about a series of unfortunate mistakes.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

^ That. It's nothing that someone would/should get butthurt about; it's just something that didn't really go as planned. A gift might be nice, but it's by no means a necessity and I doubt your brotherly sisterly relationship is tarnished because of this.
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

Is this really going to cause a rift? Maybe she'll understand. I hope she will.

Well I went ahead and bought her the gift because nothing gets me down more than hurting someone, so I have to make it right. -CSM
