No my beard doesn't grow faster, in fact it's one of the reasons i shave on a regular basis as we don't have a good shover in the caravan.
And joker i assure you that it isn't dirt i move around and it bears me against to tell that i first operated one of these when I was 3 years old (it was at the cost of parts of my mom's garden but it was worth it).
