Demisexual here.
"A demisexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction until they form a strong emotional connection with someone, often (but not always) in a romantic relationship. The term demisexual comes from the orientation being "halfway between" sexual and asexual."

^^I tell ya what, I'm not a demisexual, but genuine affection is definitely a turn-on for me, so I think I understand where you're coming from.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Oh man. There are a disturbingly large amount of things that turn me on, haha. It's just a matter of whether it's directed at a specific person or not.
Sorry, Marchie. =P

Spiderman was the last thing that came to mind, actually.
There was a similar topic long ago at another community I frequent, which ended up in a battle of the "Be straight or die" and "dead baby sheep are sexy" demographics.
Fairly upsetting since none of my closest friends are actually straight.

Spider-Man is always relevant.

There should be a "Pansexual" option.

I am faeriesexual.
I see that no one's brave enough to vote homosexual, especially with the poll results set to show who voted for what, because I refuse to believe no one here is gay.
Understandable, but somewhat depressing.

Only about a 2.25% chance in a random sample that size that there wouldn't be a gay, if the 10% number is true. Maybe there's some sort of sampling bias if everyone is being honest.

Maybe you'll get more if you put this poll up at gaymer.com

Don't even try, it's in a different language...
And I didn't check because I'm gay, I was just curious. About the site.

Another unwritten rule:
Should the subject of homosexuality come up in any form, denying being gay ironically makes everyone more suspicious than if you didn't deny it at all.

Yeah, it does... So I guess I'll say honestly that I'm not gay, in a non-denyish way, and that if it seemed as though I was trying to deny my gayness (which doesn't exist), it was unintentional.

Of course, that's all one of those opinions you'd expect IRHP to have, he's not exactly worldly. Personally, I do get the vibe that he's a different kind of man from that picture, but I don't automatically label it gay. Reminds me of the vibe I get from the guy who plays Jacob in Twilight - he really strongly looks like he's coming onto me in promo photos. Guys don't make that face at eachother unless they want sex, so when I see it there's a subconscious part of me that says "he wants to put his penis inside my penis O_O"
It's kind of scary how well you know me, but we have had plenty of time to get into the meat of topics over the years, so I guess it makes sense. In real life, most conversations I have with people are artificial. I think that's why I like this site and the people on it so much.
Anyway, I completely agree with everything in your post.
