So, I just accidentally drew on my computer...

So, here I am in my room, my laptop on my, well, lap, my notebook on top of the keyboard as I draw. And then, all of a sudden, I accidentally swipe the lead of my mechanical pencil against the screen.

Thinking it the natural thing to do, I lightly rub the eraser against the screen, and get most of it off, but there's still the sort of shade on the screen. I mean, it's kind of hard to spot when there's something besides white on the screen, but what can I do?

Did I read that correctly and you just scratched your screen?

Well then, any advice on what to do about it?

Because it's not "clearly" visible unless you're looking for it.

My advice would be to stop looking for it (difficult for me, since I have obsessive tendencies). I would leave it that way before risking serious damage to the screen, though. :(
