Can I come to your country, please? I'd like to live in a place where things make sense.

Our country is not perfect. Maybe we're better than The America, but trust me, it's not all free hospitals and maple syrup.

Though, there are a lot of maple syrup hospitals and it is awesome.

Basically, what's happening is that I'm being charged for four appointments that were supposed to be covered by my insurance. I called both my insurance and the health care provider's billing office to see what's going on, and both of them are at least acting like all the charges were supposed to be covered. The health care provider was able to get two of the four visits covered by my insurance, but they're still working on getting the other two covered.

I was pretty sure I was doing everything correctly when I was getting the referral for the doctor, so unless I was mislead by my insurance company it should all be covered... right?

yeah, but if you have everything covered you should not have to pay!

but do that if they send something, can get ugly if they decided that it was some kind of violation.

Yeah, I find lack of health care coverage and health insurance shenanigans particularly egregious. I mean, it's your health. You need it! It's not like your grocer scammed you out of a bag of oranges or something; you could be dead in the street!
