No! No no no, don't do that! I'm sorry you're feeling down, but please don't do anything drastic! Is there anyone you can talk to in person right now? A mentor, friend, teacher? Please Chunky, try talking about the issues right now.
Academic probation is only a temporary set-back, and I'm sorry that your parents are giving you a hard time, but please, don't feel like you have no options. Do you have a teacher you can speak with about getting on track academically? Or perhaps a guidance counselor, or even just a friend you can chill with for a few hours? Please, don't get down on yourself!
*hugs*
PM me if you need to.

Don't get defeated. For my first few semesters in college, when things got difficult to a degree I had never encountered before, I lost faith that I had what it took and never took the hard steps to right the ship in a number of classes. That's even though lots of people who weren't as smart as I was were doing fine somehow.
Things really turned around once I got engaged. I had a wedding date set, and thus a deadline for graduation that had no room for error. I developed a very stubborn refusal to fail. When things got really hard and I wanted to give up, I'd remind myself that that wasn't an option and then I'd do whatever miserable things I had to to get through it. If your troubles are anything like mine were, I suggest finding a way to convince yourself that no matter what you have to do to pass, it's not as bad as not passing.
But maybe none of that is really applicable to your situation. Just thought I'd share my experience in case it's of any use.
