Also, you're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling toward you. You reach down and you flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help.

But you're not helping. Why is that, Leon?

Wait, is that right?
Many thumb pads work via electric signals sent through a compressed membrane. That's another one for pressure, not friction.

^How do you "reign supreme"? Plenty of other people have laptops.

I have a tablet with pressure sensitivity. It senses the location of the stylus through electromagnetic signals. Ultimate win.

But what is friction, really, but a series of microscopic electromagnetic wields between two contact surfaces as they move along side each other?

That's the physical definition of friction, what causes the drag. Hence why there's no way to just take it out of reality, it's caused by an important factor in the existence of matter. But we aren't playing by those rules.
