Friction

Like, really. If friction were to suddenly disappear, we'd all be dead in minutes.

I mean, think about it.

It'd be like wearing roller blades/skates on an ice rink.

Worse than that, we wouldn't even be able to stand up, and the slightest misbalance would send us across the room. If that doesn't kill you, the megatons of stuff to follow would.

Yeah, but we could have amazing sex with anything for those few minutes. I say let's give it a shot.

It would make physics calculations much easier though. We should also make everything spherical magnetic monopoles of uniform density.

I don't see what obscure Marvel Comics characters have to do with living, but okay.

Well, since there's no friction, one's nerve endings wouldn't be able to register any movement...

So one wouldn't be able to feel anything.

Um, I'm not too experienced in the sexing phenome, but isn't friction necessary? Otherwise, isn't it just a slip-and-slide bouncy castle?

Ace, this is the "Things That RULE" forum.

Lack of friction would causes winds to reach 1000's of miles an hour.

No, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't. It would all cancel each other out.

That's how scientists explain Neptune's 1000mph winds. Lack of friction.

"It's the trees, mountains, and buildings that create friction that slows down the winds."

Supposedly.

Oh really? There's no friction on Neptune? Hogwashery. Since Neptune is approximately a brazillion times bigger than Earth, Neptune has what some scientologists call superfriction.

I misread the link as superfiction. Then I realized I was correct.
