Job Hunting

#1

Post by Bomby » Mon Jul 12, 2010 9:13 pm

So my job with the University ended while I was in the hospital back in May. Now I've been making up my finals (sort of) and looking for jobs. Having been consistently employed for a long while now, I forgot how depressing the latter part is.

Job finding is very disheartening. I have experience in a few fields because those are the ones I got breaks in, not because I want to work in them.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

Which is why I wallow in irresponsibility and avoid job hunting! Hooray!
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

Job hunting is like a full time job no one pays you for.

Got some new clothes for possible future interviews, and I look pretty slick in them. I'll try and do pix if I remember sometime.

And when did men's dress shoes get all pointy? Because those things are like elf shoes. I'm not an elf.

Now that I handed in my two weeks notice for the mental hospital (SEE YOU IN HELL, INCOMPETENT GOVERNMENT JOB HANDLING!!), I'm going to need to get a new job once I move. And from the looks of my classes, holding any sort of job is going to be a bit of a bitch.

I'm sorry you have to go through this, Bomby. It's not fair because the economy sucks and nobody is standing up trying to help people get jobs. But if you need any support I'm here. -CSM
