That would be hilarious unto itself.
Actually, it would be Γuigi. However, gamma pronounces like W, so it would be Wuigi.

I think it should just be kept at Waluigi. It's a nice, clever pun.

^A clever pun only in a language spoken in neither of the character's possible nations of heritage.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I'm pretty sure it's a Japanese pun.

^Which is neither Italy nor the US. I didn't say country of origin; I said country of heritage.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Mario was created by Nintendo, which is a Japanese based company.

People born in Japan don't have Italian accents.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^Well, Waluigi was a name invented in Japan. It has nothing to do with heritage.

Besides, what proof do you have that Waluigi's Italian, anyway?

^...So? That doesn't exactly prove he's Italian.

Besides, does his name really have to make sense in Italian?

*bump*

^My answer is no. Waluigi was created by Nintendo. They get to make the name. Besides, Luigi is Italian, and Waluigi is based on Luigi.

Also, I think he's italian because Mario and (more importantly) Luigi are Italian.

Really, though, I rather like Waluigi. But, to fit in with the "he sucks" mood, uh, he sucks.

Waluigi's name means nothing. It's true. I read it off DZ. DZ never lies.

^...I don't know if anyone has already said this yet, but Waluigi's name is a combination of the japanese word "warui," which basically means evil, with Luigi.

Dumbest argument ever. Waluigi is obviously from the rape dimension.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying
