I never paid much attention to Tetris after the GameBoy release. It was a great game for that system, where nobody really cared about graphics or sound. I didn't realize it was still selling so well, with hundreds of millions sold on mobile.

The NES version of Tetris was recently beaten, to the extent it can be considered beaten.

by I REALLY HATE POKEMON!
I suck at Tetris so it was always one of my least favorite puzzle games, but I respect the franchise. I do actually like Pokemon Tetris as an exception, but I'm still pretty bad at it. I've always preferred Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine or even Dr. Mario (I'm less terrible at those, and almost adequate at DRMBM).
