Trouble sleeping.

Last night, I tried going to bed early, but I still couldn't sleep.

Eventually, I had to take a sleep formula pill.

I've had to take a sleep formula pill for the last three nights.

Am I an insomniac?

Could be.

Don't go to sleep if you aren't tired. Never works. I recommend going to sleep at the same hour every day. Don't take naps during the day (except power naps for a couple of minutes if you must). Try to relax and not to worry about or overthink things before going to sleep.

I slept just fine on Sunday and Monday, though.

I have to take a sleep formula pill at least once a week.

What worries do you think might be keeping you up, pal?

I think my problem is I panic if I'm not asleep by a certain time.

Do you think I'm an insomniac?

Do you go to bed at roughly the same time every night? I know people who fixed problems getting to sleep by forcing themselves to always go to bed around the same time.

I also had sleep issues when I was much younger and fixed them in part by waking up and going to bed earlier. Don't know anyone else that it's worked for, but it did wonders for me.

Maybe you just aren't tired sometimes. To stay on a regular sleep schedule, try natural remedies, like herbal teas, and such.

That sounds more like insomnia plus being a little overly strict with routine, but that's just me.

No one can diagnose you with any condition over the internet, least of all us. Speak to your doctor if you're concerned about your health.

Will the melatonin pills eventually stop working?

I took a mental relaxation pill last night, and I slept well.

Only a trained professional can accurately advise you on how effective these medicines will be for you.

Usually, after I take the sleep formula pills, I go to sleep around 12:30.

Thursday and last night though, I only got 2 and 5 hours of sleep, respectively. Though, I had chills on Thursday, and I threw up this morning. Maybe I just don't feel well.

If you really are concerned about this, VGA, please go talk to a doctor. They will know if it's a real problem, and also how to best treat you and deal with it if it is.

What if I never sleep without pills again?

That's a question none of us here are qualified to answer. However, a doctor will be able to help you.

i have slight experience here, taking anti-ds given to people with sleeping issues

the only advice i can give you is SEE A DOCTOR

self diagnostic is ALWAYS horrible and you always get it wrong thats rule number one

rule number two is make sure you see a doctor ASAP.

seriously see a doctor, i assumed i was just insomniac for years and that was it, but rather it was a part of a problem i now struggle to manage, i would seriously see a professional

Getting diagnosed by people who aren't doctors is horrible too.
