Another Thing that Sucks: MS Word's Insistence on "And."

A little follow-up to Kat's thread.
Suppose I'm quoting something from some old work of literature with a phrase or sentence that ends with a list of three or more items like this: "X, Y, Z."
I can permanently stop Word from attempting to correct my grammar on a lot of specific levels, but I can't permanently stop it from insisting that it should read: "X, Y, and Z" or something without turning off grammar check altogether.
I know that a computer doesn't know everything, but this annoys me.
This really annoys me.
