So I'm sitting in class, whoop-de-doo, normal Thursday when suddenly I feel something sticky under my bum. It appears some lovely person left gum on the seat and I was too tired to notice until now. So my teacher gives me an ice cube to go make the gum cold and flake it off in the bathroom, and in the bathroom I feel a terrible cramping feeling in my chest, signifying that - oh no - my lung collapsed again. So I call mum and she takes me to the ER, where they confirm what I already knew after five hours of waiting; my lung has collapsed.
Now, having pneumothorax is a 7/100,000 chance in itself, and after the surgery I had, there was literally a 99% chance my lung would not collapse a second time. I am thrilled.
After returning home (lung still partially collapsed, they said it would reinflate on its own), I feel great and eat some Chinese my mum gets me, only even luckier is that I get food poisoning from it and begin dry heaving and having diarrhea eight times overnight. I am now only able to hold water down without puking. :I
My Luck
