Dear political spam callers:

Quit. Calling. Me.

I have asked you to stop numerous times. By now, I can legally sue you for harassment. Do you really think it'd be a good idea for Obama or Romney's campaigns if word gets out that you've been harassing potential voters? No. So I suggest you stop. You want to be known as the guys who called at 5 in the morning? I don't think so. IT was bad enough we were hearing the phone ring at 4 AM during the last election.

Dad, the phones are unplugged for a reason. That reason being the spam-calling. IF you keep plugging the phones back in after I unplug them, then I don't want to hear a word out of your mouth about how the phone rings every ten minutes. You chose to plug the phones back in, now deal with it. IF you want to contact me, then you use the cell phones. Until our cell phones start ringing non-stop, tell people to call your cell phone.

And both campaigns...If you call Hewlett Packard again, then you are committing Harassment and you will be sued by the managers. You have been asked to stop numerous times. IF you keep calling peoples' work phones, then you are disrupting their work schedule and you should not be surprised to find a bill from a collections agency because you are interfering with peoples' work. If you call my mom's work phone again, then you deserve every fine you're eligible for. This goes for you too, telemarketers. You are in violation of the "Do not Call" list. I don't care if you're "non-profit" and are using it to sidestep the do not call list, it is illegal and you are in violation of it.

Oh yeah, this happened all the time when we had a home phone. This is one of the reasons I really hate the whole campaign, because all you can hear about 24/7 is candidates being slandered and praised.

yep, we have a landline still because my dad's old and grandma doesn't know how to call cell phones. Yeah right - she can call our cell phones. She's done it numerous times.

I don't think my family has gotten a single call from campaigners before.

Same here. I mean, I get annoying Toll Free calls, but no campaign ones.

Thanks to goddamn Citizens United, I keep getting angry at the disparity in the amount of ads I'm seeing for Romney vs Obama.

We got campaign calls a LOT during the state senate election, I think it was, but I don't think we've gotten any for the general election.

I'm sure we'd be getting a lot of calls at the moment, since Virginia is an important battleground state.

So, some idiot at Subway put a Ron Paul bumper sticker up on the sandwich vein, and claimed it was "Free speech" when we told him to remove it.

Derp. I'm pretty sure it has to be stuck on your own property for that to work. Some people can just be so stupid.

at least he didn't call us a nazi, but that is not his property - it's therefore considered "Vandalism".

Well excellent I get to be a political spam-caller, because my US/VA Government class is basing a big portion of its grade on spending 10 hours promoting a presidential candidate. uggggh

I live in an apartment and don't have a landline.

I don't get it. Are there really people who watch or listen to campaign ads and think to themselves, "Wow, what a 100% accurate and unbiased account! I'd better vote for this guy!"?

At this point, if you can't just straight-up block their numbers, I think you'd be justified in calling the police.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Joyous days, I am stuck with 10 hours of canvassing for Obama. What is this supposed to teach me about, Government class?
