Games getting old

I want my awesome games that I played years ago back!
I went looking for a few GameCube games at a GameStop and a few other places, and when looking at a pre-owned game it's really easy to tell which games were good because THEY'RE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
Absolutely NONE of the games we were looking for were there. Then we found 2 other games to get, and when we get to the check-out he tells us he doesn't actually have it! Ok, so we got one, but then IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK. Phooey.
GAMECUBE GAMES
y u leev me. :'C

The dark side of backwards-compatibility: Most of the people who have the good last-gen games aren't selling them.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I know GameStop stopped selling GBA games, but I figured it was due to the 3DS. With the Wii U, I'm sure the GCN games here will stop in no time, so I'm gonna have to start hoarding them.

We were just looking for a few older games we had had and got scratched up or lost. Also we were looking for some 2-4-player games.

I wonder what they do with all the ones they don't sell...

Especially not here. There are 5 GameStops within a mile of each other over here.

My Gamestop is still selling GBA games?
Also I'll be damned if you think I'll sell my copy of Tales of Symphonia

Yeah, the southeast Michigan area is pretty scarce for used game stores. Though Glux is wrong to say that they're all Gamestops. We have a few EB Games too. :P
There are a lot more used game stores where I go to school in mid-Michigan. I've also found a few nice places up north., but southeast Michigan is a wasteland. (It's the same thing with record stores. I mean I'm sure there are a few in Detroit, but I've yet to find any in the surrounding cities.)

Game World is a good store.
Though I think they're just local...

dang I live HERE and know of at least one other called "Game Gorrilla" but yeah u could check yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores, the salvation army store. Alot of times theres a pearl in the rocks. Bgt yeah, best bet is Amazon, srsly.
What are some of the old ones u used to have? and if u have some gbas and gba/gamecube link cables, a decent hacknslash rpg is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, but u have to have the gbas and cables. :/

I don't really shop at GameStop or other used game stores for old games anymore. If I have a fun game in mind that I used to own but got rid of, I just order them off Amazon.
Final Fantasy Anthology? Final Fantasy VIII? Mischief Makers? Metal Slug Anthology? I got them in a couple days, and I didn't even need to leave the comfort of my home. (Well, maybe to get the mail.)

Same here. I mean it can be fun to just hang out and see if you can find anything at Gamestop, but Amazon is usually easiest by far.

Where are there EB Games around here? Besises, it's kinda moot since they're the same chain anyway, iirc.
but yeah, SE Michigan sucks. Haha.

^ I'm pretty sure one of the malls actually has a Gamestop as well as an EB Games. Not sure which one, but I've always found it funny.
