It's redundant, but seems to make more sense in a way. I prefer "ATM Machine."

Go into Gift Shop, say you're looking to get someone a gift.

Hey, the English language, that is how she is spoken. Wrong becomes right, old right becomes archaic.

Yeah, I get accused of being archaic enough. What with octopi and WE SHALL NEVER ACCEPT OCTOPUSES. >:[

Of course, I kind of think the whole thing is ridiculous and hilarious in a sense. What we speak now is an awful, ruined, beyond-bastardised version of the old English language. Being too attached now is, like, centuries too late to be attached.

BTW: I am also a witch.

Also, octopi is INCORRECT. Latin "us" endings pluralize as "i", not Greek; the really honest and for true word is OCTOPODES >:[

Wikipedia's dry humour states: "Fowler's Modern English Usage states that "the only acceptable plural in English is octopuses," and that octopi is misconceived and octopodes pedantic." and something about Hypercorrection

Octopodes. Proving my previous statement irrefutably true.

WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE OUR WORDS CAME FROM ANYMORE
