I Don't Know What it is, But it Sucks

After laying down, when I get up I can walk around for several seconds and feel fine, and then all of a sudden, for about 6 seconds my head gets fuzzy and I start to feel weak and dizzy, and then giant black spots begin to blur my vision. It ends quickly but while it lasts, it's terrible. What is this, and does it happen to any of you?

Talk to your doctor about postural syncope.

If I lay down for a bit, relax, then get to my feet, sometimes this happens and I nearly fall back down again.
It's definitely annoying to me, especially since I don't want to freak the people I'm usually talking to out when it happens, I quickly sit down again lest I plan on scaring them by taking a break on the floor first. @_@

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonably serious brain thing. In my experience, it does not usually happen to humans.

I wasn't talking about you. You just happened to post thirty seconds before I did. =p
... But you're gone now, so I guess I'm talking to myself. That's great.

Sounds like low blood pressure to me. You might be anemic. I'd go see a doctor, get your blood drawn. You might need to get a bit more iron.

In other words, eat more cereal.

All I ever eat is cereal. Did you not see the part in WoT about me eating Froot Loops?

I'm sure overloading on cereal isn't gonna solve anything.

Not even counting that Magneto can more easily kill you the more iron you have in your body...

Yep, this.
Low blood pressure can be controlled with a high protein diet (eating extra meat, cheese, eggs, nuts, legumes, etc with all meals). I suffer the same symptoms when my anemia gets bad (usually when I start forgetting my daily iron supplement). Get it double-checked by your doctor, and just take it easy when you get up. Sit first, and wait a half-minute before you actually stand up. You'll be fine.

You are most likely suffering from orthostatic hypotension, a low blood pressure related condition that I had as a teen.
Try drinking more water and munching beef jerky or more dairy products. If you have a more severe case, that may not solve the issue and you will need to consult a physician.
On the bright side, I simply outgrew it after a year or two, so you may not have to worry about it for too long.

EDIT - To clarify, you should definitely talk to your doctor either way, as a more severe case can do more to you than mere lightheadedness.

Your symptoms sound like what is commonly referred to as Matrix-Disassociative Condition, or MDC. We of the hive-mind recommend several large glasses of water daily. Failure to comply with your body's demands may result in further symptoms such as wakening to a cold, metallic world where ceaseless factories churn out tentacled-killbots in an attempt to contain and suppress the human rebellion.
