Also, the fact that I only have two pills left and no refills, so unless I talk to a doctor, I'm pretty much S.O.L. if I have any more bad pain.

I don't want to become an addict. The fact that I also have bipolar II disorder actually increases the risk of addiction to such things.

That doesn't bother me nearly as much as the painkiller wearing off in the middle of a painkiller induced sleep and being woken up by horrible, blinding pain.

Oh dear god. I'm glad to say I've never experienced that. Though I do have a friend who is apparently immune to the effects of morphine and had to be awake when they took his appendix out... or something like that.
