Hey, I have the same problem you do sometimes, and it can be tough out there. But if you're pissed, you can always talk to me about it. I'll help you however I can. -CSM

Dude, don't be hard on yourself. Everyone has a hard time controlling themselves when they're pissed off. If you just talk to your mother and explain what happened, you'll be alright. Maybe you should try getting help if this is a regular problem.
If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here, bro.

Talking your feelings out... that's what this place is all about. I'm all ears if you want me to be.

Like Val said - don't be so hard on yourself. I'd just talk to you mom (if you haven't already) and explain why you reacted so badly. Then, tell her how you've been feeling - I can guarantee that things will be easier if you have someone you can actually TALK to rather than just on a computer.
I'm sorry you feel this way. But try to maintain a positive outlook - things will get better, eventually.

Maybe you should try to learn to keep your temper in check. You can do a lot of **** you really don't want to when you're pissed, take it from me.
I think now, it just needs a little time. Wait for things to cool down, then try again. They're your family, they need you as much as you need them.

This is why divorces are bad.

Try deep breathing when you're pissed. Sit down in a chair and breathe your bad mood away, then go back and try to talk civilly. -CSM

You've obviously got great friends to support you through these hard times... here online, and obviously this good man Antonio.
Just, as everyone's said, stay with him, and after time passes, confront your parents again.
They are your parents... it will all turn out good in the end. We all know it.

Well I don't know if it comes from my personality as I am pretty laid back, but generally if my Mom pisses me off I just kind of walk away. I usually just tell her "Well there's no point in arguing, we won't get anywhere, etc." kind of approach then just go in my room and sit around.
If not you can always sarcastically argue and exaggerate specific words like "Yeah well if I COULD talk with you then I would, but since I CAN'T then there's no point in arguing." I find it makes arguments much more fun and it probably will get on your mom's nerves without offending her. It also helps prevent exploding your anger(well at least I think).
But I do understand how Mom's feel like they always put you down. I mean me and my mom started golf a few months ago, and whenever I play it's basically what I did wrong and it's pretty freaking annoying. I don't bother to comment on her play except for when she hits good shots.
And don't think you're kicked out of the house for good. Your mom of all family would never throw you out of her life permanently.

^ not like my mom...
But man, I gotta tell you... thats just wrong. Your "stepdad" should have let you apologize and explain what happened, Instead of him yelling at you. well, like Val said, They're your family, they need you as much as you need them.

You don't deserve all this. You aren't a failure, you're one of the greatest friends I've ever had, on VGF and in life. You're my brother. If you ever want anything, if you ever need to be with someone, please, come talk to me.
Man, it hurts to see you going through all this.

^^It sounds like you made an improvement by not going off on him when he said that. The truth is, he shouldn't have said that, but good for you for not starting anything. As much as it hurts, it's probably best to lay low for a while and let everyone simmer down. The tensions are going to be high and the arguing will only make it worse.
No one deserves this sort of arguing and such, but with the right attitude, I know you can overcome it. You're a strong kid with a big heart so don't be so hard on yourself. You're not the failure. Just remember that alcoholism is considered a disease and it effects everyone involved. Stay positive and keep you chin up. I'm always online if you ever need someone to vent to.
