Do you know how to change a car tyre?

When was the last time you changed a tyre?

(And, do you spell it 'tire'?)

Last time I changed a tire had to be well over a decade ago. Fortunately, the need has not arisen since then.

It is useful to learn, but I never did or needed to know. I just call AAA (auto club). If it's a busy time or you break down in the middle of nowhere without cell service, that's when you could get into trouble.

Normally they arrive within minutes. One time, I broke down on Memorial Day weekend, and they kept telling me someone would be there within about half an hour. For probably about 4 hours until like midnight.

I can only think of one time I've had a tire so flat that I needed it changed. It's usually I run over a nail and can inflate it enough to get to a repair place.

Yup. Used to help ma rotate our tires once a year. Haven't done it in a while, but ehh.

^The place where I buy tires does free rotations for the life of any set of tires purchased there, so I figure why not take advantage of that?

I can change a tire. I've got an impact wrench that plugs into the automotive auxiliary power outlet that makes really short work of the job because it fits my jack and my lug nuts. Can probably do the whole job in 5-10 minutes. It's been a while since I needed to, though. Maybe 7-8 years?
