Re: 2018 Cooking Challenge
We made tikka masala accidentally basically without any of the sauce, so it tasted right but looked absolutely nothing even remotely like what it should:
also fried chicken because why not

Re: 2018 Cooking Challenge
It tasted great but we had WAY too much chicken and also I probably should have simmered the sauce without the chicken in it

Re: 2018 Cooking Challenge
^That one's a favorite of mine from Budget Bytes. I've done it with fish sauce instead of oyster sauce and while those are not the same thing literally at all, I think I've gotten accustomed to the fish sauce and now like that better than with oyster sauce.

Re: 2018 Cooking Challenge
yeah this one was fairly easy to put together but needed to simmer for a long time, so honestly the only advice I have is don't cut yourself shredding cilantro leaves and you'll be good to go

...nothing to add, really. I just love the word 'pho'. It sounds so moronic that I can't help but adore it. It's 'pho'n

Re: 2018 Cooking Challenge
Gurrrrrl if you cutting yourself cutting up cilantro you need to start curling your fingers and tucking in that thumb. Blade against knuckles firmly. If you were using like a grater to shred cilantro leaves though then you're asking to cut yourself.
I only see scallions in that bowl though.
