I moved a little over a year ago to Lincoln. Surprisingly there is quite a climate difference, which I should have expected from moving several hundred miles but still keeps me surprised.
I moved 600 miles north and the temp difference is only like 5 degrees or so. But there's snow here so that's cool.
In other words, it's warm year-round for most of the south.
Not really. What I remember from living in Georgia is that it was hot and humid from late March to mid-October. After that it was cold as balls but not wet enough to snow.
It's summer 9 months in Oregon?
Nope! Summer for three months, rain for the other nine. (I used to live there, too.)
I live in Texas, where we don't get fall. It's 90 degrees today.
What is fall like, to those of you who get it?
Allow me to share ridiculously high-res photos to give you a little taste of Fall
Now imagine the crispest, freshest air you've ever breathed through your nostrils. Then just start to imagine that it's the perfect temperature, and for some reason you really crave cider all the time.
I love Fall.

Then I guess Texas is the only place that doesn't get fall.
I think it gets hot in Texas from May to mid-October.
Probably didn't get as much of fall and winter in Georgia as in Oregon.

Summer doesn't really transition into Fall in Milwaukee. It abruptly crash-dumps into it on the equinox. On September 22nd you'll be sweating yourself inside out from the heat and humidity, and on the 23rd it'll be forty degrees and raining incessantly.
