^I don't know, man. I think if you round off, being straight in 99% of instances pretty much makes you straight.
I have to think most everyone has that 'well, maybe' coda. Personally, I'd have a go at David Bowie in a heartbeat---doesn't make me bi, it makes me sane. I mean, look at him, fer chrissakes, he's gorgeous. Who wouldn't. ('Labyrinth'-era, especially. Frosted tips, walking on walls and all. Sweet sh*t, son, I'm only human.)

Not to create an argument, but by that logic, at what percentage are you no longer straight but bi?Booyakasha wrote:^I don't know, man. I think if you round off, being straight in 99% of instances pretty much makes you straight.

I suppose that I didn't phrase that correctly. What I was really saying is that I see things black and white, and never really considered breaking sexual preference down to percentages. That's a new concept for me, and I simply question its validity. I'd like to hear more on the subject, and anyone can make input.

As a self identified 70% lesbian maybe I can be of assistance.
Personally, I've had huge as **** crushes on people of both genders my entire life, meaning I'm certainly capable of loving both. However, when it comes to basic attraction, I just tend to find chicks hotter than dudes. That's where the preference comes in. Have I fallen for men? You bet. But when I'm Just kind of people watching or whatever I find that I'm not attracted to the vast majority of men and on average find ladies more hawt.
Long story short: if I love a person I'm gonna ask them out and past history indicates that can happen with either gender but I'll be damned if ladies arent fine

I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

I don't actually see things in percentages. And I don't really care about labels.
I suppose I self-identify as straight. But really, I just like 'nice'---like, I'm physically attracted to beautiful people. Usually that's women, to me; if (...okay, 'when') the odd man slips through, I don't think the Allfather is going to mind much.
Seems to me that pure, concrete terms like 'straight', 'bi' and 'gay' are about as useful in describing one's sexuality as 'liberal' and 'conservative' are in describing one's politics (i.e. not terribly). Maybe that's a little cowardly. I don't know.

Think of it like this; Crushing on a specific person does not mean you're necessarily that orientation.(as in, if it's man, you aren't automatically straight or gay)
It's the actual attraction to men specifically that would make you gay. If you're also attracted to women at the same time, you're bisexual.
I won't go into the other various sexualities since I don't fully understand them myself.(obviously Asexuality is that you're not attracted to men or women specifically. You may still find some characters/people hot as hell, though)
Any specific person doesn't automatically change this whatsoever. Some are just that damn hot. I mean, just look at HotD. >_>
