Trouble sleeping.
I've had trouble sleeping once a month since I was 15. Granted, I've gotten better, but I've still had some trouble. I've had to take a melatonin pill on those nights. This week, I've had trouble sleeping more frequent than usual, and have had to take a melatonin pill 4 nights. Will I eventually become dependent on those pills to sleep, since my body will stop naturally producing melatonin?

Any major health concerns need to be addressed by your doctor. You can't be accurately advised on any medical issues without an in-person assessment, where your doctor can go through all the possible reasons for your sleep disruptions, what medicine you're taking, and lifestyle factors.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

You should also consider going to a sleep clinic.
For me personally, I found that melatonin didn't help, but that valerian root does. Since it's a (natural) muscle relaxer I usually take it for pain (considering that most of the time my pain is caused by overstressed muscles), but it does make it easier to sleep as well. If you do try it, do not mix it with melatonin as they will cancel each other out.
But again, discuss the above with a doctor.
