Historically (within the last couple decades or so), Wisconsin has had a mildly-liberal sway, but isn't too far from being a battleground state.

Until 2002 we constantly had Republican governors for 16 years. One of them (Tommy Thompson) actually set up a decent health care system here. Now Wanker's going to dismantle it, though.

Wisconsin gave us everyone from LaFollette on the left to McCarthy on the right, so there's no knowing what's next up there. -CSM
