Are you playing to see M3GAN?
WHY??? Even the trailer is frightening. ;)
In the mountains of Oregon, a couple, Ava and Ryan, and their daughter Cady are involved in a car accident while heading on a ski trip. Cady is the sole survivor and is sent to live with her maternal aunt Gemma, who is a roboticist at Funki, a technologically advanced toy company in Seattle.

Gemma is currently working on developing M3GAN (short for Model 3 Generative ANdroid), a life-like artificial intelligence doll designed to be a loyal companion to the child it is programmed for and be an ally to their caretakers. After a test run for Gemma's boss, David Lin, goes haywire, he forces her to abandon the project and focus on remodeling another popular toy the company sells to maximize profits. Gemma and Cady struggle to adapt to their new situation; Gemma has difficulty stepping into parenthood, with work being her biggest priority, and Cady struggles to cope with the loss of her parents.

To ensure that Cady is supervised while she remains dedicated to her work, Gemma decides to continue working on M3GAN. After completing the doll, Gemma asks Cady to partake in M3GAN's demonstration to David, during which she meets and is formally paired with her. Their interactions and Cady's love for M3GAN convince David that the doll will be a valuable investment and skyrocket the company to success.

I only rarely see horror films, & this one does not look like it'll be one of those rarities.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

...it looks good. I can appreciate a scary frankenstein story. It looks like 'AI' if 'AI' didn't suck. (Ahahaaa. Shots fired.)

[EDIT]Man alive. Seeing M3GAN go down on all fours like a ravening coyote hit a check-mark in my soul. It was terrifying, and I'm super on-board.

The movie was / is okay until the end.. but again you have to ignore the reality that they

The way they made the Demo-M3gan explode was childish was dumb.
The maniac female-lead toy-maker that is more of a nerd-guy clearly makes a poor mother, and in fact a person who understands children.
During tech demo ( again using the little girl ) instead of knocking over the glass she could have used the brush. But I guess that was done for dramatic.
Solution to knock-off toys......just sue them. If a company copies a product then sue them. That is why many CEO are in fact business law majors.
The way the boss was cartoonishly yelling and being messed up was poor.
The fact that "Megan" does not have an off-switch as with "Small-Wonder" ( which was far better ) is lame. Voice-command lame.
The fact the A.I. learns about death the way "she" does, yet the movie does not explain "Well in order for you to survive I have to be around
and teach you how to survive. Even teach the A.I. about the concept of religion. But nope, robot just learns death. In that Willaim Robinson movie at least when he learned about death he made it his business to invent better, hearts, lungs, and make peoples have lives that could
live super-long. Even his wife is plugged in to the bed with him. He was like "That will not do", this movie just makes M3gan into an insane A.I. after learning about death. "Will I die?" I mean seriously....................

She kills of fixing the fence.
She kills again
She literally make it her mission to kill ([removed]). Installs product-placement and suggestive content.

During the next Tech-demo the A.I. gathers even more data and does a super-show.

There is this movie called "Wifelike" in which both the idea of "Making robotic children is going too far, but this movie reverses the idea and calls it too far to make a replacement parent/guardian bonding.

Her chasing the guy down the hallways and moving around weird like a dancer was lame. I mean seriously

This happens

Clearly drivers in this world has no idea what defensive driving is.

"It puts the lotion in the basket, or it gets the hose again.

[removed]

You make an A.I. that has the ability to intercept calls and mimic peoples voices. I mean seriously it is clearly superior to that of an human and can crack-wifi passwords.

The ability to hack into a system is not the same via being a walking internet hotspot.

She picks up the paper-cutting blade like a meat-cleaver. Usually those things are held into place and are made of moving parts.

Even if he had held the door clearly it was an Music-video all together.

I mean look exoitc cars.

The grand final we get that robot from "Electric Dreams".

[removed] I mean just pull out her chipset already )..
